Have you ever been to Paris? If not, you should go there and see it at least once in your life! Paris is an exciting and wonderful city. It is well-known all over the world, that is why every year a lot of tourists visit it with great pleasure.
Paris is famous for many things: its cultural heritage, monuments, museums, galleries, cathedrals etc.
But all of these are not the only reason why Paris attracts so many people. The city is traditionally associated in human mind with romantic feelings and love. A lot of couples come there to spend their honey-moon or just to have a nice holiday together. So, if you and your partner want to get some unforgettable memoires, you should visit Paris.
People say that walking under the Eiffel Tour brings happiness. And what would they say about kissing uder the famous Tour? Would it bring double portion of love and mutual understanding? I hope, yes.
When being next to the Tour, you will see many sellers with lovely red roses wrapped in beautiful paper (just 2 euros each), or artificial flying pigeons, symbol of peace and romancy.
If you feel tired after long walks, you can relax in a nice café or a restaurant, there are plenty of such places in Paris. There you can try some traditional dishes such as for example green beans (haricots verts) with a steak – it is a very tasty and nourishing meal. As a drink you can have some red or white wine, champagne, beer, or just a glass of still water – as the French do. It has to be noticed that french people like to drink cold water with almost all their meals. Not for breakfast, of course. For breakfast they prefer to have a big cup of tea with milk and toast. As a dessert you could have a yoghurt or «Ile Flottante» (a kind of sweet pudding with topping), or simply some ice-cream with honey, nuts or whatever you like.
So, Paris is a very lovely place to spend a holiday with somebody who you are in love with. There is a saying in French “voir Paris et mourir” – which means “see Paris and die”. Is just a saying, but certainly it has sense. Visiting Paris, the capital of love, is the best way to keep some really nice memories in your mind!
